Bucking the idea that ultramodern designs must be sleek, simple and angular, this tree was designed by Shanfan Huang & Huang Zhe to be the interactive electronic heart of this conceptual living space. It houses audio/visual equipment, computer, cell phone and other gadgets at the center of the room.
Components in a modular interior like these can be manipulated to take on whatever size, shape and function is needed. Have an enormous book collection? Prefer to spend the weekend watching your favorite movies? Modules can be added, moved and taken away to create exactly the storage and useful space your home needs.
In numeric order (per the above diagrams) the space(s) include such features as a seating element, writing desk element, infoscreen/television, exterior skin with photovoltaic cells, motorized sun shade louvers, wind turbine, generator and battery packs, wardrobe, entry hatch, shower area, water collection and filtration tanks, cooktop, sink [and] toilet compartment.” Project by adNAU.
Besides the circular living room and the rectangular formal dining room – also open to the outdoors when its large glass doors are open – the first floor is one big, wide-open space. Shades of white are used extensively to let natural light bounce off of all of the surfaces and further add visual space to the home.
The key to creating a calm, clean and classic atmosphere into your living room one way would be to incorporate blue shades into the decor. Blue has always been a sign of freshness and elegance. As a result, blue living room designs are always elegant and stylish while also creating a calm atmosphere.
